The Nigerian Army in a new shake-off on Friday 26th April, 2019 appointed Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim as the new Director General of the National Service Corps NYSC.
This was made know in a statement issued by the acting Director of Army Public Relations, Colonel Sagir Musa.
In his statement, Col. Musa explained that the redeployment followed the endorsement of the postings and appointments of some senior officers by the army authorities.
The former NYSC DG, Major General Kazaure was posted to the Nigerian Army Resource Centre as the resource person while Brigadier General Ibrahim, who was redeployed from the Nigerian Army University, Biu, was directed to take over from Major General Sule Kazaure.
Brigadier General SS Ibrahim was also appointed as the Registrar of the Nigerian Army University, Biu, in Borno State.
Brigadier General CA Bossman is also affected by the redeployment as he was posted from the Nigerian Army Archives to Command Schools Services and appointed as Director Command Schools Services.
In the same vein, Brigadier General BA Tsoho was posted from Army Headquarters Department of Civil-Military Affairs to Nigerian Army Language Institute as the Commandant while Brigadier General E Angaye was appointed acting Director Veterans Affairs Department (Army).
Brigadier General FC Onyeari from Headquarters Nigerian Army Supply and Transport to Defence Headquarters as acting Director Catering. Brigadier General AA Goni from 82 Division Education to Army Headquarters Department of Civil-Military Affairs as Director Information.
The army spokesman stated that the postings and appointments are with immediate effect.
